Isn't the media that is telling us the surge is working is the same media that said we were making progress in Iraq... in 2003... in 2004... in 2005... and in 2006?

When will America see that the 'liberal' media is about as credible as Cheney is?

Actually, the liberal media (there is no such thing as corporate media) has been speaking against the surge from day 1. I have never heard a good word about it. That is why I refuse to listen to ABC, CBS, NBC, BBC and the rest of the left wing media.

Unfortunately, even Fox News is no longer fair and balanced. They have largely joined the liberal ranks.

Lets see this is the same media that has told us from day 1 that we would lose 36,000 people when we first attacked Iraq?

Most of the main stream media doesn't want the US to win over there. They have been compairing Iraq to Vietnam every chance they got.

Btw, on D-day we lost almost 10,000 troops, Iwo Jima 8,000 troops. 2 battles in one war that lasted about 4 years. We have less than 4,000 dead since the start of the war, almost 2 million troops have been to Iraq in almost 5 years. Any General worth his salt would tell you 4k troops dead out of almost 2 million is not even a scratch.
