1. distance = rate X time or time = distance / rate
the rate is 87. the distance is 233. the time is t
t = 233 / 87
divide 233 by 87 to get your time. you get a decimal, 2.678 *rounding*. that's about 2 2/3. that is equal to 2 hours and 40 minutes.

2. distance / gallons = miles per gallon
the distance is 363. the gallons is 11. the mpg is x
363 / 11 = x
you get 363 miles for 11 gallons. if you divide 363 by 11, you get 33. so the car gets 33 miles per gallon.

Hi, Carley. Both these questions use miles per something; miles per hour in 1 and miles per gallon in 2. You can interpret per as requiring division.

1. 233 miles divided by 87 MPH = ____ hours.
2. 363 miles divided by 11 gallons = ____ miles per gallon.

Brussels is the capital of Belgium and may be the primary seat of the Belgian Royal Family and, also the capital of the European Union and if you intend to know it then this is the place hotelbye . Brussels is a remarkably little, easy-going, and human-sized city for all its importance. Unlike anthers city using their millions of tourists, Brussels is Belgium's major economic and instructional heart, which gives the city an even more workaday sense than other towns. Here, in Brussels, if you'd choose to visit, you will get a proper experience for Belgian living, especially their great restaurant and café culture. Although Brussels may possibly not have the star attractions of other Belgian neighborhoods, the capital has more than enough to help keep visitors entertained for a couple of days with a clutch of world-class museums and art galleries, along with quirkier views such as the Atomium, and some amazing remnants of old structure in the old city quarter.
