lets go ghost hunting?

has anyone here ever seen a ghost? please tell me about it.

I do not believe in "Ghost" hunting, same I I don't feel the papparazzi is a fair business to have for people.
When we say ghost-we are dehumanizing them. They are human, just like us. They have souls and most people don't realize that Earthbound souls choose to stay here-Using their own free will.
Bugging them, chasing them around, recording them-Can potentially upset, scare, or frighten them.
Ever watch The Others?
It's basically spot on to how those souls feel. They either don't want to acknowledge they've died (but secretly know), or they do know and don't care, or do know and are scared to cross over. They will NOT go cross over just because a voice tells them too. This is a huge myth. If you don't want to see a doctor about a headache, will someone shouting you too from across the road help you?
Nopers-What they need is a family member or an angel-someone they trust to help them cross over, by holding their hand. Something we can't do-So if you ever come across an Earthbound, pray for them to be found by their loved ones and ask Arch Angel Michael to help also.

Not only this, but it's bad for our health, that's right-No lie.
Earthbounds have not crossed over and so allllll the energy they use is stolen from our world-whether accidentally or purposely is not an issue. What is an issue-is that once a person starts talking to an earthbound they run the risk of that soul being allowed to attach to their own aura of energy.
They drain the person.
The signs of this happening are
constant fatigue
tempermental
depressed
depressed thoughts
negative thoughts
sleeping a lot

all of the above or even just one of those can be caused by an earthbound who got permission somehow by a mistake of th elive human as they spoke to them.

More than likely hauntings are due to risidual energy-Called Echos. They are left over energy, but not souls-That repeat actions over and over again.


So in the end I feel that calling them ghosts-is a little degrading to them-it's someone's dad, uncle, or grandma...we can't make them sound like a cartoon casper-as they once had a family who loved them. and the word hunting speaks for itself...

So I hope those who read this, can update on their words to show the afterlife some respect-as we all will die oneday, and we may not like it either.

I used to astral travel, and my spirit guide let me feel what it was like to be someone who was sticking to Earth but was scared to cross over-There were ppl "hunting" me out-To hear me out. But all I could do was scream and run and run through walls-as They scared me so much. I didn't kno what they wanted or what their machines were-even recording devices. I felt threatened...So think of the fear-I know teh questioner may never go doing this, but in general to everyone -This topic hits a hot spot with me ;)
Just as some people will speak on the ethics of animals..I try to about the world many don't understand yet...

As for seeing Earthbounds, yes -All the time. They come and go. They are everywhere, in their own world they created-so they hardly ever notice us.




PS: Knight was describing what I feel was a perfect example of an Echo. A time reliving itself over and over. Many people go to war feilds and see this-as te energy is very very high.
but it's not dangerous and it isn't a soul, those people have more than likely earned their right to cross over. :)

You are far too young to be running a paranormal investigation group. Running such a group takes an adult mentality, analytical and organizational skills that you have not yet developed at your age. Also, paranormal investigating is often done overnight - how are you going to ghost hunt at night and keep up with school during the day? You would be better off to finish school first. As there is not much money to be made in the "ghost hunting" field, you need to get an education so you'll be able to learn to work other jobs, then you can incorprorate your pursuit of the paranormal into your adult life. Sorry dear, but until you are 18 years of age, your Mom is the boss. It is her job to make decisions based on your safety, well-being, and best interests. Her decision is the same any good parent would make - this is not something you are seriously ready for. For now, keep studying all you can about the paranormal in your spare time - but don't neglect your school work or chores to do so!

I went out to the Gettysburg battlefield in PA a couple of years ago. I know the history and I can only imagine the things that happened there. At night in a field, I saw that battlefield come alive! Serious!, Not a joke! No drinking or any stuff like that. If I was alone, I would have thought that I was out of my mind but there were others there. I can tell you for sure that they saw everything that I saw........and ran as fast as I did to get out of there. I go back every year around this time ever since but I haven't seen anything like that since that time. I'll let you know in a week or two when I go back.

I have had several encounters. One was at a hotel in Vancouver, Canada in July 2006. We were at a sci fi convention and many weird things were happening to people in one area of the hotel: a maid's vacuum caught on fire, one lady was thrown across her bed--in front of 3 friends, lights were doing weird stuff, the fire alarm went off, etc. The last day of the conference, at the closing party, I had taken a few photos with a digital camera and when we went up to the room to download them to the laptop, I noticed an aura around and across the guest of honor's head. We enlarged the area and there were 2 faces superimposed over his face. 2 not so nice faces. We made copies and took them back downstairs to the party.

i live in a small comunitee and every year around autum time strange things happen dogs will start howling and people have had banging on doors and no ones there we have even seen large black shapes annd heard strange noises .this will go on for a few nights and then stop . i have lived here for many years and no its true .we have had a spiritualist visit and he says its a ghost of some one who used to own the land and went mad for a few days before he killed himself.

yes! i have seen one along with one of my friends when i was about 14 yrs old,at an old mine works close to where i live,it was about 5:30 pm just getting dark not too dark but the light was fading we were looking for the rest of our friends , we saw an old man with his coat pulled up tight over his face he was also wearing a cap , we asked him the time but he did not reply or acknowledge us he just kept on walking slowly past us.just at that point at the top of the mine works a barrel of what i presume to be was oil was on fire had exploded lighting up the whole of the area, in an instance we turned around to see if the old guy was ok and he had just vanished ,gone without trace, nowhere for him to have gone given the fact that only 1 second had past from seeing him to the fire exploding.we just ran home and only talked about it when we were at my house, i have no doubt it was a ghost.

Yes, I have seen plenty and I don't like calling them ghosts. I call them spirits and they should be treated with respect..

I have once, Its was when i was younger, in my partners parents house, i was talking to his sister in her bedroom an when i glanced out of the door i seen a figure pass by the door going towards my partners bedroom as if it had just came out of the bathroom, but my partners door did not open. i seen it & my partners sister heard it as she asked me who had just went into her brother room.
