Yes, I have received stitches too. I received stitches from 3 different surgeries, and once from child birth. I didn't care how many stitches, nor did I bother to ask. I did get 6 stitches in my arm and two stitches inside my lower lip from an accident.

Yep.
Eyebrow wound stitched when I was 4 or 5.
I had a stab wound in my thigh when I was 15 that took a few stitches to close up.
A few stitches in my mouth after having a lump removed when I was in my late 20s.

Well at 5 i got 54 stitches on my face cause i fell and my head hit the corner of a wooden bench, and the doctor said im lucky to be alive.

I had surgery when I was 2 and 1/2 years old. I could not even tell you how many stitches it took to sew me up, because it is from the bottom of my throat almost to my belly button. Too many to count.

I had stitches when i was 7 and it came up to be 16 from the scare im 18 now and can still count them.I was dressing up like my dad and my sister was trying to get in and i didnt want her to see so i pushed the door and she was pushing on the other side before i knew it blood was squirting everywhere and my arm went through the glass door,it was real old. i'll never forget it i never felt it it was so quick but it was wired looking inside. and sometimes when i press on the scar a tingling shoots through my arm and up my middle finger.

Yes - I was 16 years old, and was in a motor vehicle accident - I hit my insurance man's father's parked car. I hit the steering wheel and took over twenty stitches.

Stitches & staples from having kids & surgeries...can't tell you how many stitches...and a few that have had answered before me are correct in saying that the staples do hurt much worse! :-)

Yes, I ran headfirst into an elevator door when I was six and busted my head open. I can't remember how many stitches it took but it was excruciatingly painful.

the last was 2 spots w/ 10 stitches each on my head when I had tumors removed a month ago....................then I have had open heart surgery 4 times not quiet sure how many they put there but it goes from my collar bone to the bottom of my sternum..............and several other incidents too numerous to list
