Calcium and magnesium. You have to have the magnesium or the calcium doesn't want to be absorbed. Vitamin C is good for calcium absorption, as well.

Eat milk and peanut butter as well, since they provide nutrition, calcium,. vitamins and minerals, and protein to your your body. Stretch more as well, especially your legs at least twice a day. Bananas help, and do some sqats and calf raises as a workout about 3 times a week. As time passes, you will have less of them, since you will have your baby. It is putting more weight on you, so your doing more work on your legs. Just keep eating and exercising right, and the cramps should be gone. I hope this helped you!

Exercise!
Your leg cramps are most likely caused by the stress on/lack of curve in your low back...
I would see a chiropractor shortly after delivery, but until then you should be stretching and strengthening your entire body, especially your back/"core" muscles. Try Pregnant Yoga.
Good luck!

I heard that you can put a bar of Ivory soap in between the sheets of your bed and it somehow cures leg cramps. You can check this out on www.snopes.com to see for yourself.

make sure your taking your prenatal vitamins and drink lots of water, gatorade that kind of thing. Right now your body keeps on replenishing your fluid in your amenotic sac. So your actually dehydrating. Also whenever you can stretch your legs so they relax.

Have your partner massage them when they start to cramp, and look for foods that contain potassium. Also, try a warm heating pad when they cramp up, but don't sleep with it on.
Good luck, I know it gets better.
