i have the newest version of internet explorer. i want to change my home page or start page, but i changed it like 30 times. and it wont change. it'll still go back to the same old thing. its likt a toshiba site too. and i have tabs enabled too. so can you help me?

I have the same version and have not had that problem. How did you change the homw page? Did you go to the page you want as home page, and then go to the options section and choose "cruurent page" as home page? If you did it is hard tos crew up even when running a flaking Microsoft program.

Try it that way and see if the home page stays where you set it.

what are you using as your current start page??? did this page select itself as the start page?? if so you un knowingly clicked and selected it while browsing!! go to the main site you want as your start up page i.e google, msn, yahoo etc!! on the home page look for and select e.g google as your current start up page!! then go into tools ( top right hand top of page) select internet properties select google in home page tab and click apply and ok! should solve your prob

Scan for spyware, adware, etc. You can download Adaware 2007 and Spy bot Search and Destroy from http://www.download.com. Also, look into getting a good Virus protection, I recommend Nod32, there's nothing better. After that, definitely ditch IE and get firefox (http://www.mozilla.com).

Boot up the page you want, click on tools, Internet options, then click on use current click apply.

I was doing thwe same thing. You have to click apply at the bottom left hand corner of internet options to mak it apply, then your in.

Sounds like you have spyware trojan hijacking your browser, I would run anti spyware software, try spybot, it is free

change your internet browser to firefox or something.
