While in the army, I had leave to Japan, for R&R from Korea. I went off the beaten track, and had lunch at a local restaurant with a buddy. They gave us a bowl of rice with a few pieces of dark meat on it. The dark meat turned out to be horned beetles, ugh.

When I was in the ARMY training for Ranger School we had to eat bugs and pick up a rabbit from a cage and chop its head with your hand to kill it and then eat it.I hope I didn't upset anyone if I did take it up with the US ARMY they made me do it.

An ounce of really dark moldy cheddar cheese, for $100.00....... I had to keep it down without throwing up for 60 seconds. It was grosssssss but worth it!

I grew up eating liver, kidney, tongue and also sheep balls. I can't believe the crap they served me but at the time I ate them because it was normal and I liked it!
