It's what Semper Fi Reborn did when he said Rush Limbaugh was too one sided in another question! Man, did he ever cross the blade!! My brother is raggin' on my man! (all in good fun, Anjel). Actually, I've never heard the expression - so why didn't I just say that? I don't know, it's a slow day...

'Crossing the blade' is dueling with words like 2 swordsmen would duel with swords or blades.
