Assigning letters to numbers is a transgression against the virtue of mathematics. Your flagrant irreverence for numbers, though entertaining, is nothing short of "sacmathematical" blasphemy! :-) :-) :-)
P.S. I am here, in the name of mathematical continuum, to rescue our precious number 143 from the jaws of literary torture.
.
Psalm 143
1 O LORD, hear my prayer,
listen to my cry for mercy;
in your faithfulness and righteousness
come to my relief.
2 Do not bring your servant into judgment,
for no one living is righteous before you.
3 The enemy pursues me,
he crushes me to the ground;
he makes me dwell in darkness
like those long dead.
4 So my spirit grows faint within me;
my heart within me is dismayed.
5 I remember the days of long ago;
I meditate on all your works
and consider what your hands have done.
6 I spread out my hands to you;
my soul thirsts for you like a parched land.
Selah
7 Answer me quickly, O LORD;
my spirit fails.
Do not hide your face from me
or I will be like those who go down to the pit.
8 Let the morning bring me word of your unfailing love,
for I have put my trust in you.
Show me the way I should go,
for to you I lift up my soul.
9 Rescue me from my enemies, O LORD,
for I hide myself in you.
10 Teach me to do your will,
for you are my God;
may your good Spirit
lead me on level ground.
11 For your name's sake, O LORD, preserve my life;
in your righteousness, bring me out of trouble.
12 In your unfailing love, silence my enemies;
destroy all my foes,
for I am your servant.
.
I am NOT religious, but if I were, I would even say, numbers are so majestically flexible that 143 could (depending on your definition) even stand for (One "For" Three) ---> The Trinity; The Father, The Son, and The Holy Ghost)!

P.S. Here is how you show "to the power of" here in Y!A-land (Do you really have to be so mean to those beautiful numbers? LOL):
3^4 + 4^4 + 5^4 + 6^4 = 7^4 − 143

It means if you are married you better go see a divorce lawyer heh heh
PS to the guy below whoi thinks he know his maths well how about this .............................
143 is the sum of three consecutive primes (43 + 47 + 53), as well as the sum of seven consecutive primes (11 + 13 + 17 + 19 + 23 + 29 + 31). But this number is never the sum of an integer and its base 10 digits, making it a self number.
Every positive integer is the sum of at most 143 seventh powers (see Waring's problem).
143 is the difference in the first exception to the pattern shown below:
32 + 42 = 52 (all to the 2nd power)
33 + 43 + 53 = 63 (all to the 3rd power)
34 + 44 + 54 + 64 = 74 − 143 (all to the 4th power) (can't show powers here heh heh

143, would also mean i miss you. 143 for the information of some is : 1 stands for I, 4 for love and 3 means you. You just counted the letters then came up the digits, 143. that's how simple 143 means. We usually used this when we are in grade schools and high schools when puppy love starts.
Have a great day!

In text messaging slang, 143 means "I love you" 1 for the 1 letter in "I", 4 for the 4 letters in "love" and 3 for the 3 letters in "you".

143 Means "I Love You." When texting
One letter in I,
Four in Love,
and three in You.
BUT it can also be reversed to mean I no longer love you or I hate you. It is texting talk, it dont have to make sense lol.
I think this is because if you look on some mobiles it looks like the symbol for a broken heart which can also expressed as 3 - it is on it's side with the arrow through it.
In leet it can be 'one forever' but not commonly used or widely accepted.
143 means 1=one 4=four 3=ever Leet is Elite language used by programmers/gamers.

143. Sweet thoughts and delightful memories. My daughter is the one who uses this, and 143 reminds me of her. Her creativity and her generation that has a language all their own. (As evidence, so many responders had never even heard of 143.)
It means love finding yet another form to express itself. Creativity lives!

I don't even understand how "i love you" would match 143. I guess it's the number of years it takes for a person to fully realize things, and the true impact of, well, other things. And no human lives for 143 years....so I guess no human ever fully realizes everything because we're just human

LOVED the math based answer... :) The number has no particular meaning to me.
Just for a lark I picked up a book at random and checked page 143. It's a poem about bicycles. Hmmm...
