There is nothing wrong with having foreskin. From my experience, men with foreskin are better in bed :)

It smells funny, because the glands in the head of the penis produce the same kind of fluids a vagina does. When a man has his foreskin removed, the usually moist "head" of the penis dries out and scars. You just need to pull your skin back, wash well, rinse well, and dry well.

My husband cleans himself that way. He also wipes the head of his penis with toilet paper after going to the bathroom, because moisture builds up under your foreskin throughout the day. That will help with the smell as well.

There's nothing wrong with you, and you don't need to get a circumcision.

BUT... If the smell is very potent, and the head of your penis is irritated, and nothing helps it, you might have a slight infection like most women get. It might be yeast or something like that.

The smell comes from smegma which is created when living cells grow to the surface of the inner foreskin and get broken down. It is a fatty substance, which is perhaps why it is hard to wash off.

As for eliminating masculine genital smells, apply talcum powder to the entire genital area- be careful not to use too much. Pull back the foreskin when doing this, so that it and the head of the penis get dusted with a light layer. Smegma is created for lubrication, so only apply a bit more powder to the inner foreskin and head of the penis if your foreskin pulls back easily. The powder also has the effect of drying everything up, so that it will wash away more easily. Many powders with various deodorizing scents are sold on the internet.

Scientifically, it is unclear if the foreskin enhances sexual pleasure, but I can tell you that it absolutely does! During sexual arousal, the inner foreskin becomes sensitive and, when pulled back and exposed, gives pleasure when stimulated. What is widely known is that circumcision desensitizes the head the penis. Use talcum powder instead, perhaps one with a pleasurable smell.

This might sound weird but try not using soap. Soap is an irritant and can often make the problem worse, especially if it's a harsh soap. Or if you want to use soap, make sure it's mild, don't directly apply it (like just apply the soap suds), don't keep it underneath the foreskin for long, and thoroughly rinse it all off. There's also a chance you could have an infection, so if it doesn't clear up, see a doctor. But keep in mind that no one's genitals are 100% odourless.

This has got to be a scientific breakthrough and I should probably market it under a brand name like "Deodo-Helmet" or something... But I got the cure for everyone out there, honestly.. No bull, I bet I could make money off this .. I'm just can't help thinking about all the poor men out there who had their foreskin chopped off, who say it's the only way to keep their old lad odour free... Absolute rubbish hahaaa ! I have the cure and its none medical and none chemical, 100% natural, not talc or powder of any kind and I found it by accident .. and YES it keeps your bell end as fresh as as a Spring morning for over 24hrs even after a good shagging session ! .. I'm going to see how many of you guess correct before I tell you the answer .. But I reckon nobody will guess correct, let's wait and see lol...

Yes, your foreskin keeps a lot of your c u m in place, which will lead to smells. I would recommend doing what the other person said, which is keep your foreskin retracted (pulled back) when you're taking a shower. Use body wash and scrub it really clean. It's only embarrassing if you don't wash yourself before being intimate with someone, other than that, no one else will notice.

it's normal for guys to have a rank smell under the foreskin; it is caused by bacteria, and washing does not always eliminate them completely. You do need to wash every day, using a mild cleanser instead of soap. Apply a penis health creme with vitamin A after washing. This is a natural antibacterial ingredient and can help reduce the presence of bacteria under the foreskin.

If you have a private appointment with a doctor, then you're only telling one person, who can offer professional advice. They're used to this stuff and are quite desensitized, don't worry. Just say you want to be healthy and ask if having a smell is healthy.

In the meantime, try changing your diet to include more fresh stuff(not packaged), mainly fruits and veggies. Try eating more cooked foods(not pre-made frozen stuff).

Dark, damp spaces have to be dried thoroughly or else they are going to smell. No matter what kind of soaps you use, if that area isn't thoroughly dry then an odor will come about. That is why some really overweight people have an odor to them. They sweat and that gets in b/w the rolls in their skin and then the odor comes. Keep it dry down there.

See a doctor immediately. It is not normal for any smell after an hour, if you clean like you say you do. You have some kind of infection, I would say. A doctor can tell you what is going on, and what you should do about it. Don't wait! Good luck.
