How many other people have this happen to them and how does it make you feel?

It happens all the time. They do it because they can and no one will yell at them for being idiots. I get irritated and wonder how old they REALLY are!

This happens with me sometimes....not so much on my serious questions but on my silly ones. Seems like when I get a "funny idea" it sounds better when I am typing it than it is when people read it.
Personally, I think there are just some folks here who are *paid* to be mean and abuse the system. Why else would folks like this "Chester M" or this "$mitty" keep on coming back? If it were a little kid doing it, eventually he'd get caught, and the parents would step in....or the game itself would stop being fun and he'd quit for a while. See what I mean? It doesn't make sense that they'd *keep on* coming back for more after so many Violations and Suspensions.
Some folks are paid to be here, either to hype up an agenda, or to just make parts of the internet hostile, unpleasant and unsafe for ordinary folks. Bet on it.

I just ignore them, I just figure that they couldn't come up with an intelligent answer so they felt the need to stick something in for the 2 points!! Don't let them get to you!! Some people just can't find anything better to do than to try to make other people as miserable as they are!!

I do, all the time.....I don't really care, actually. People are anonymous (for the most part) here, so it gives some of them license to act like pre-schoolers, where else can you do that and only get a slap-on-the-hand e-mail? Plus, some people just need to be ******* to others to make themselves feel better (much like "real life").

I guess they value the 2 points more than the feelings of the person posing the question. You could say its immaturity.
You have to accept Yahoo answers (like life) for what it is ... the good, the bad and the ugly.
Enjoy the good and ignore the rest.

It really depends. Sometimes I want a dumb respond to my question, but when I'm serious, I get annoyed when someone answers it and says something dumb. I never report anyone though.

They just want the points. Ignore them and go on to another answer that makes sense. It happens to me all the time, but then again, some of them are pretty funny.

It happens to me all of the time .. someone always finds something rude to say. I don't get it because once they get so many thumbs down, their answer is minimized anyways .. but it will never stop. Just need to deal with it =)

It has happened to all of us here.... It seems like different types of people are on P&S at different times. I mostly chat in the morning & we get along pretty well.
