Jarom and Jaron still sound made up. At best, Jarom might pass as a misspelling of Jerome, and I don't the name Jerome at all.

Jaxton either should be spelled Jackson (preferably) or Jaxon.

I would think about Jerusha, James, Jansen, Jared, Jasper, Jedrick, Jethro, Juniper, Julian, or Julius. They're all valid names that start with J.

Either Jaxton or Jaron. I think they're both great names. I would probably go with Jaxton - it's more unique than Jaron. Also, there is a band called "Evan and Jaron" - I instantly thought of the band when I saw you listed Jaron as one of your choices.

They sound like characters from a Star Wars film. That, or maybe some kind of sandwich spread.

Those aren't names. They're random collections of phonemes.
