Hi!,

Depression is a behavioral disorder that is brought about by the interacrion of several stressors between environment and the body. The bichemical and physiological imbalance that occurs within the individual can be addressed by changing the environment (work space, pollution, toxins, etc.) and altering the nutrition to correct the imbalance (bulid-up of hormones serotonin).

Prescription meds may help temporarily but proven to cause tresholds, rebounds and other harmful/harsh effects to the body.

If you are open to natural approach, I recommend you to try goji berry juice. It's 100% all natural, no over dose, no side effects, no drug interaction, cross reactions, and taste good too! It's not herbal (like roots, leaves, seeds, rind, etc.) but a juice (like apple or orange juice). We recommend this to our patients and show consistent results with 2-3 ounces three times daily. The link below is the original and authentic source of goji berry juice - the first company to introduce the juice to the world. Below are some helpful links for your reference.

Hope this could help you. Good Luck!

I'd say a change of scenery and a sudden surge of motivation. You don't always need meds, or false friends to pacify you. At the end of the day, you have to pull yourself out of the doldrums,,,whichever form of recovery you take YOU have to want to get better, it all depends how much dirt you want to spread and how many people you want to poke around your innermost thoughts and daily activities.

The best thing to do would be to distract your thoughts...but not by covering old ground or by doing things just for kicks to get back at someone. Doing that, you're only burying your depression deeper and one day your world WILL crumble. I had a very good friend who gave good advice, showed me the right direction and pushed out my boat and left me to it. And that's what it takes.

So chin up, get out there and FILL each day, eat and sleep well and you'll soon be stronger. Then come back here and help someone else in return.

God bless.

I could see how being a christian could be incredibly hard if you have depression. Not only would you be wondering what you had done in life to be sent such a challenge from god, but then you would be under so much pressure to "heal" yourself by following the christian teachings about depression. Real depression is a clinical thing, it is a chemical imbalance, and needs to be treated by professionals. Please do not put yourself through the trauma, seek help from the relevant professionals, and use your faith to give you the strength to use the tools given to you by these professionals.

There are actually a lot of things that can help with depression that are natural products. In many cases, general relaxation is enough to relieve enough stress to lift someone's depression. The most popular things for general relaxation are Valerian, Chamomile, and Hops.

There are also some supplements that can help with overall stress and relaxation and often help with people's mood. There is St. John's Wart, SAMe, some B-Vitamins, GABA, Ashwagandha, and L-Theanine

Listen to the song "No Rain" by Blind Melon. Hell, watch the video. Make it your "happy song". Sounds really gay, i know, but if you're willing to let it work, it will work. Garunteed.Whenever you need to, just listen to the song and be willing to be in a better mood. You'll come out of it happy as a pig in sh!t. Not even kidding.....works every time.

Simple solutions are the best solutions, and you have my word that I'm not joking at all. It worked for me.
