Hi Dragon,

When I was a kid *a looong time ago=p, my brother and I used to try and plot shenanigans. Say slipping out of the house after curfew. We never said a word any where near our parents, but more times than not, our dad would approach us and say "Don't even think out sneaking out of the house Friday night."

My brother and I were amazed, and wondered how in the world he knew.

It wasn't until I became a parent that I realized, he always knew what we were up to because he was young once too and probably did the same thing=p.

Just my thoughts, hope they help ya out.

Peace=)

Your parents have done all the things that you are going to do. So when they see little signs, they just know that is what you have done. It's mostly intuition, and good bluffing.

They notice that your behavior has changed in some way. Then they search back into their memory banks to when they were your age. Don't think that any of your "secrets" are new. They have been around for ages.

And, you are also young and new to lying. It takes years to perfect deception. Your parents will almost always know when you are lying. They raised you for Pete's sake.

Just have an open relationship and talk to them about things. They will be more understanding than you think. What parents get really mad about is the lying.

And if they are not open, start a discussion. Let them know that you want to talk to them about things, but because of __________ (fill in the blank) they are making it difficult for you to open up and be honest all the time.

Because parents have been kids once there selfs. So they know how the game is played. My granny always used to tell me that "Lies or secrets have short legs. " If you get the meaning. Yep, just be honest and your parents soon will see that you're a responsible person that will grow up to be a great teenager. Good luck!

Because, as much as you think we don't understand you, we do. We have the advantage of experience on our side and the wisdom to use it. We also have the benefit of knowing one thing you will not understand for many years; just how much we love you. There is no limit to what we will say or do to protect you, help you, teach you, and prepare you for all of life's challenges. Even if that means punishing you when you screw up and try to pull a fast one. We don't do it out of anger. We don't do it because we enjoy it. We do it to keep you on the right path and hope that you learn from the experience. Above all, we want you to come to us when there's a problem. Trust us to help as best we can. That's what we're here for, and always remember, you'll all never really know just how much we love you.

Parents know more than you think, especially when it's about their kids, You could try to hide every secret but they'll find out anyway, just try to think about your secret and if you thought about it and you don't wanna tell it. then try not to be such a suspicious person cause parents mostly think that if your behavior points to something they'll search till they find so just be careful with everything you'll say cause they'll haunt you at your answers if they're wrong the next them goodluck with it

Parents always friggin know. You never realize this until your a bit older, but they went through all the same things you did, they tried all the same tricks, and they also didnt realize their parents knew exactly what was going on.
It's uncanny how it seems they know everything, i remember my dad always being clued in when he shouldnt have been. When I was about 16 he says to me "You know how I always seem to know what your up to? It's because you take right after me. I see you doing the same exact things I did and the reason I let you do them even though I know you'd be better off not is that I turned out okay, probably better off after having made mistakes, and I know you will be okay too."

If it was a secret no one would know, not your mum, your dad or even the man upstairs (he got more to do with his time).

They can only find out if you do something to alert them somehow. It's just they have a lot more experience than you cos believe it or not, they thought the way you do now, at one time....been there, done it, wore the T-shirt, type of thing.......now they are just smarter than you.

Ah because parents know you, they noticed your ways when you went through your terrible two's and three's.
They were your age before and there parents knew their secrets. There is nothing new under the sun baby.
They have been there and done that.
