No but there will be Halo Wars in 2008 I read it in ONM.

I'm not going to spoil anything but you have to see the ending of Halo 3, and if you did you should know it's over but still open for more. Bungie has claimed that the Halo trilogy is over--but that doesn't mean they can't continue the adventures of Master Chief and Cortana. Everyone loves the series and it makes them money, so I highly doubt they will stop. While HALO is over, The Master Chief could be facing some entire new threat! Or it could be sometihng about the Halo rings that we missed, you have to see the Legendary ending and interpret it how you want to. My opinion HALO is over, but we're going to see the Master Chief again real soon. Even the person who does Master Chief's voice was asked:
"So what are you doing now that your going to hang up your battle rifle?"
He stated that you never know when he might need it again so he will keep it close by.
There's so many signs of it stopping, but there are many signs of it continuing as well. I think we will see Master Chief again sooner in the future. Hope this helped.

It is very likely. As in the end if the game
it is mentioned (you have to listen real hard)
that the Master Chief will return to earth.
It is possible there will be a Halo 4 or there would
be no reason to finish the game on a cliffhanger.

Maybe. Halo 2 came out 2004. It took them 3 years to make another one. They are trying to make it EVEN better. So don't expect it 'till 2011

i think they made Halo 3 with the goal of ending the story, but then again, they said that Tomb Raider "The Lost Revelations" was the last Tomb raider, and guess what, they made three more.
I think there will be, if you finish the game on Legendary, there's a second bonus movie showing that MC and cortana are floating towards an unknown planet. (possibly Onyx)

Could be, the way Halo 3 ended you never know. Could be a final showdown between humans and Elites.

no becuz at the end, they do a salute to the brave soldiers that faught in the war and this is the end, but if you wanna c wat happens, finish the game
also halo wars is not really a story to the end of halo 3, halo wars is just a war game no story with it
