we know the construction industry is cyclical and unpredictable. Yet it can be quite rewarding in its booming season. I dont know if getting a masters can help give some job security and moreso are there jobs readily for other graduates in Georgia other than Georgia Tech. Thanks

Make sure the school's undergraduate degree (probably a BS-Industrial Technology) is NAIT accredited. I went to the NAIT website and found ~11 accredited schools with Bachelor's degrees in Construction Management. Many of the schools offer a Master's in Construction Management.
Bowling Green has a highly respected Master's in Construction Management & Technology.

I have not seen construction management opportunities in the last few years.
I have found that working for corporations as an owner's representative is the best position.
With my experience, I could be employed in the industry.

be careful, civil engineering jobs are being outsourced to India.
Dont specialize in anything like CAD, plans, estimates
Be great in other things that are not easily done on a computer on the internet.
