It's not the lack of financial resources per se. It's how people handle the lack of said funds.

If that were the case, then wealthy people would rarely get divorced, and that's not the case. "Money issues" and a lack of financial resources are not the same thing.

A study was done, financial issues can be a stressor for marital problems.

I agree with the first answer. My husband and I have been through the ringer and back as far as finances go, but we never fought about it. If you are broke, fighting about it isn't going to make you un broke. So we just did what we could with what we had at the time and found ways to better ourselves so we didn't end up that way again.

Do some research and find out. It's a fairly common belief that money issues often cause rifts or worse in relationships.

i dont know. but from personal experience, money is a difficult thing to talk about sometimes in a relationship. especially when one person is doing more contributing than the other
