Yup.
My grandparents had some on their farm (along with other random animals such as emus and sugar gliders), and I was too close to their area. One of them spit at me, hurt pretty bad (then again I was a kid, anything hurts bad when you're a kid). I do my best to avoid them, whenever I happen to be around some.

Why would anyone be afraid of llamas. Just because they spit? Well guess what. I spit too. And I will spit anywhere I wan..............eeeeeewwwwwww gross!!! (wipes llama saliva off face). lol.

Yes i am i was at a zoo with my family and my older sister got to close to it and it spit on her...landed right on her shoulder..its stunk like crazzy!
