I'm looking for a picture to put on an add and in order to print it with good quality i need to have one that's at least 300 DPI does anyone know where I could find something like that?

A picture would only have resolution. Only OUTPUT DEVICES (printers, monitors, etc.) have DPI.
Just find the largest picture that you can.

scan one from a photo of your own dog or a friends dog or a dog in a magazine or one off of a pamphlet the humane society, the lists are endless..

what you can do, is use images.google.com, then search for a dog and 300DPI
download a picture you like, and save it to your PC
