I liked the first Halloween but my favorite was number two and four in the series. The remake was pretty cool too.

Halloween Movies are my Favorite of all time. The 1st is by far the BEST!!!!! The last was just modern. I have seen the first like 100 times and it stills scares me. I know when and where everything is gonna happen but still manage to get startled. LOL

John Carpenter's 1978 Classic Halloween is the greatest Horror movie of all time in my book!

John Carpenter's Halloween is one of my favorite movies. Carpenter's setting of Mood and his understated depiction of Michael Myers as an unstoppable force of evil make the movie a classic. Michael is one of Stephen King's archetypes of horror: The Thing Without a Name. Michael is just his human label. He is no longer human. Loomis knows this, even if nobody else does.
Laurie: "Was it the boogeyman?"
Loomis: "As a matter of fact, it was."
Two things that always send a chill down my spine: when Michael sits up behind Laurie and turns his head toward her; and when Michael disappears after being shot 6 times and falling off the balcony.

Great seasonal movie. My family and I watch it every year before Halloween. I even use the theme as my ring tone in October.
Given the year it was made, the production quality is not great but in this movie's case, that is what makes it even better.
I have not seen the new one yet and have heard great things but I doubt it will be a favorite of mine as the original is.

I think the original Halloween is the very best one out there. The remake plain old sucked.

I thought it was kind of stupid, to tell the truth (but I'm a bit biased against Michael Myers), and I kept wanting Donald Pleasance to just die! or go away! or do something to be not in the movie anymore! But no, I didn't really like it.

OMG IT IS MY MOST FAVORITE MOVIE EVER!!!!! OMG THE SONG IS MY RINGTONE AND MY SHEETS HAVE HIS FACE ALL OVER THEM LOL. IT'S THE GREATEST MOVIE EVER MADE!!!!
the remake was really good but nobody can beat Jamie Lee Curtis.

specific, its a great frightening action picture.. - it began the slasher action picture loopy - it presented the international to Jamie Lee Curtis - it additionally had next to no blood gushing, it grew to become into o.k. executed.. frightening yet not bloody, not elementary to do.. and dont ignore that super topic song...
