Barry Windham turns on Lex Lugar and joins the Four Horsemen. Windham and Lugar were defending the NWA World Tag Team Championship against Arn Anderson and Tully Blanchard, two members of the Horsemen, when Windham turned on Lugar, costing them the titles.

Has to be without a doubt Hogan going nWo. This was brilliant and was the tipping point - WWF had to go with youth and WCM rode the old dogs and nWo (far too long). Second would be the Brett Hart heel turn near the end in WWF. He was a heel, but the fans in Canada still cheered him - so it was interesting to watch that story line evolve.

I think the definitive heel turn was Hogan to nWo. He was the biggest babyface in the business, and that heel turn pissed millions of fans off.
I was quite fond of Trish Stratus' heel turn during the Christian/Jericho/Trish love triangle. It was just so hot and heelish when Christian grabbed her hair, nearly yanked it out of the roots, and laid on so much tongue that La Resistance collectively said "Oh La La". She just looked so naughty and evil...i wanted to bite her...I don't know if that's the reaction I should've had...but i wanted to bite her.
