I think it is very reliable and I know many who check things out that they receive on there. There have been time I wish I had looked there first. I say YES, it is reliable.

Snopes is usually reliable, but they have a few tricks up their sleeves. In order to teach people not to trust any one source too much they have placed a few "Jokes" on their site which they admit when you click the link at the bottom of the page. For example, Mr Ed was not a horse. Of course he was!

I find it more reliable than anywhere else. They check the facts and give examples. The newspapers are certainly not a reliable source.

I would say highly.

I have never seen any other place actually list where they checked their facts at, like they do.
