What about a Coffee fundraiser? Specialty coffee and beverages are an exploding market nationwide and people are going to buy it anyway. Java Joe's Roasting Company is an upstate New York based coffee roaster, who specializes in fundraising. Organizations will realize a profit of $2.50 or more per bag sold. The products will be customized to promote your organization (free of charge) and there are no set up fees or minimums. This fundraising program is equitable and offers your supporters a first class practical product that is perfect for every day use. Good luck! I hope I was able to help. p.s. My son's preschool made $2,496 during a 2 week campaign.

With winter on its way, if you live in an area where it snows you may want to consider shoveling driveways & walkways and clearing cars for cash. I would just knock on doors around Thanksgiving time and hand people a flyer (printed from your computer) and explain to them that you're raising money to go on a missions trip and would like to over winter clean-up services to help fund it.

You could also do this for leaf raking.

What about babysitting, pet sitting or dog walking?

If you like to bake you could, again, make flyers with order forms for Christmas-time advertising cookies for sale to fund your mission trip. I would hand these out only to people you know, maybe church members or neighbors, since you obviously won't have a health inspectors license. You could also offer gift-wrapping services too, or even Christmas-time babysitting that includes activites like crafts for the kids while Mom & Dad do the shopping.
