Installing webcam software?

I have just bought a new webcam and im having difficaulty installing the software it says it cannot finish as there may be insufficent space in my hard drive or an error has occured it needs 300 mb free which im not sure i have but i dnt knw how to find out what space i have

Click on Computer or My Computer on your desktop. Find the icon above the C drive. Then click properties and you'll find out how much space you have. In all likelihood, there might be compatibility problems with the software, or something weird with your computer. You may need to do a disk cleanup or defragment the C drive in order to eliminate the problem.

You can determine your hard drive free space by opening Windows Explorer (right click on Start, click on Explore). Right click on the C drive (I assume this is the hard drive on your unit) and select properties. If the application requires 300 MB free space, I would want to see at least 350 MB free for a little extra space. If you do not have enough space you will not be able to load the software. You have to either delete some data or applications to free up space or get another hard drive.

Until you have enough space you are just not able to load this application.
