describe how to calculate net profit please help?

Revenue - Costs = gross profit
Revenue - Costs - Taxes = net profit

if you deduct all your outgoings from your incomings what you are left with is net profit eg if you sold 10 jumpers for £10 each = £100 but it cost you £7 each to make them = £70 - £100-£70 = £30 net profit.

Subtract the money that I cost me to do business for the month from the money I made that month.
I am sure a CPA may have other ideas--but it works for me.
