Yes they make dishwashers that can fit under your sink but they are smaller and you might have to order one. A standard one won't fit. :)
I would get a pro to do it. My Dad put one in my condo and he got it to work under the sink even with all the plumbing and I still have a disposal. :)

Difficult, but not impossible. First of all they sell drawer like dishwashers that are only 12 inches high. The biggest issue is all of the plumbing that is under a kitchen sink and usually there is a disposal unit there also. You would have to come up with a creative re-routing of the plumbing. I found this to be nearly impossible, so I put mine next to the sink and had a storage space under it.

gazing the age of your dishwasher, new fashions have a catch inbuilt, so there is not any % for an air hollow installation. All you're able to be able to desire to do is take away all the air hollow fittings, and take the hose from the dishwasher and hook it directly to the relationship that the hose from the air hollow installation grew to become into going to. you're able to have the essential clamp and hose mandatory to connect it. in case you go away the air hollow linked, and decrease than the sink, water will drain out, as this is going to be decrease than the flood rim of the sink, and the cabinet would be ruined. solid success to you!

I found some small ones at: http://www.compactappliance.com/xq/JSP.jump/itemType.CATEGORY/itemID.49/qx/Portable___Countertop_Dishwashers.htm
I think they could probably fit under our sink (normal height), but most of them are designed to be used counter-top.

I would go with a portable before I went to all the trouble and expense.

It would have to be small. Special order from lowes or sears maybe.
