Put in your Windows disk that came with the laptop (should have came with the laptop), and hit the R button to fix it when it tells you to.

Im Not A Pro Either So I Cant Give You Perfect Answers I Just Know That My Toshiba Did The Exact Same Thing . EXACT . And Everything We Tried Didn't Work We Finally Decided To Replace The Hard Drive , Its The Only Thing That Worked .

Hi. Try 'Undo last restore point' to get back to where you were. The screen saver settings are probably at the default. Try to change them.

Unfortunately, restoring the operating system wipes the disk.
Make sure your CMOS allows booting from the CD.

I beleve most Toshiba laptops come with a recovery CD that you can boot up from and restore the laptop to the day you first got it. chek on that!

start the computer and press F8 at the start to get to the safe mode menu. and on that menu u will find one of the options that says
run the last working configuration
choose that option and i hope it will work and then restore to the point u want after it works for you.

reinstall windows or install a dif operating system
and in the future dont turn off ur computer while installing or recovering
