I hate that they schedule 50 people an hour when they can't possibly see that many people an hour and they are consistently running behind, no matter how much time they take with me!!! They act like their time is more valuable than mine but the only thing that makes it more valuable is the fact that they make so much more money than I do. But my TIME is just as valuable as theirs is. I've learned to always take a book with me to keep myself entertained while I wait, which I do not do patiently.

I hate everything about the medical bizness...

I will not tolerate unprofessional behavior like this anymore...I encourage you not to either...

let's start a movement to get these jerks to be professional, and ethically responsible...

recently, our md was running over 50 minutes late.. I walked out telling the secretaries that I can wait any longer...

then I faxed a letter of grievance to the Md and carbon copied it to the state board for licensing...I outlined the ethical concerns of trying to speed through some patients etc...

I honestly, for valuable, could change medical doctors. I even have never had a doctor's workplace call and cancel an appt. on me interior the final 15 years. we've a family members surgeon. I actually tend to show up approximately 5 minutes till now our scheduled time, and that's super. on occasion I could wait somewhat, yet I actually tend to soak up numerous his time whilst i'm there, so i don't whinge. My young infants get all of their vaccinations on the wellness branch. My surgeon's workplace does not do them because of the fact it merely isn't interior your means. they are much cheap on the wellness branch and in the event that they gained't bill your insurance, you are able to placed up them your self. I even have many times taken all of my young infants to the surgeon's workplace. fortuitously the final time once I had all 5 with me, it grew to become into my oldest son's appt., so once I had an excellent gamble to speak to the surgeon, we went returned out to the waiting room. He grew to become into so excited to work out all 5 boys there at as quickly as that he have been given out his cellular telephone so he could desire to get a image of them jointly. we like our surgeon. interior the least, i could make valuable that workplace is conscious why you're switching and which you is merely not recommending them to anybody else. solid success. another ingredient...my surgeon is interior the subsequent city over. it fairly is sort of inconvenient, yet we are so happy with our therapy and how each and everything has continually been dealt with, that we desperate it fairly is worth it. He initially practiced right here and then moved to a diverse workplace.

Ugh... I hate that!
I read in an article somewhere that some doctors (OB/Gyn mainly) were considering charging for phone calls they receive! Now how ridiculous is that? I think we should get $$ deducted off of our bill for every minute that we spend waiting on them in their office!

I had a Doctor like that and it drove me frigging NUTS!!!!!!! I've since moved and my new Doctor is fabulous, he never overbooks and never rushes. Maybe I should thank his receptionist, I used to work for a Dentist and he'd tell me to write down certain blocks of time for patients for various procedures. Well, I knew how long it REALLY took him to preform procedures and I always added an extra block of time or two,LOL!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Be sure to have all your questions written down before the appointment so you don't miss any of them.

Yeaahhh!!!! But my doctor's usually pretty good. She'll take her time, no matter how late she is, and she's discuss everything with me in detail.

Yeah, and if you are the one running late they charge you for it. I once asked them to pay me for my time, and was told that it doesn't work that way.
