I happen to be the boss for 365 days a year, and believe me, it's not pleasant at all. Having control over whatever takes place in my office, makes me a real slave, and while my emploees can have one month's holidays, and have the right to be ill and absent, I can do neither.
So, whoever wishes to be the boss, not for one day only but for the whole year, just let me know, so that we exchange roles....

I am the boss. I just don't see myself making a lot of money, because I am not a very good boss to myself (not strict enough). Proof: I am writing this now instead of working.

I am often the boss when the real one is away and i don't really enjoy it that much... I am not good at telling people off and I end up having a laugh with them all! Just as well I am changing job: my bpss had planned to leave me alone next year and stay in US for an alternative occupation :-S

I'm always in charge here. What I'd like is for some manly man to come on over and be the boss for a day. Let me like goof off all day or something.

Being boss is fun when you know what to do. When you don't know what to do, it sucks pretty bad. I like going back to my room and being alone and getting to be the boss of myself for awhile. That's as much enjoyment as I can get from being boss anymore.

I am my own "boss" now. I work at DFW Airport in Texas. I work alone. Primarily, I work in security for TSA. But also I am an EMT, and I also check documentation of domestic and foreign pilots--both commercial and military. I also render out alcohol and drug testing on pilots on a weekly basis, randomly, so that when you "fly the friendly skies", the pilots are at least sober friends who are flying the aircrafts you stake your lives on.
