Cuz, I'm a total sucker for that street music stuff....(seriously, I would probably rather go bump "It's dark and hell is hot" over say..."one for all", maye that's why I never got into this "Kanye/Lupe rap stuff"...truthfully, I would probably rather go bump "Doctors Advocate" over say..."the Miseducation of Lauryn Hill" (it's hard for me to get into this r'nb/rap stuff) That's probably why I like Beanie Siegel (even though he has that STUPID habit of repeating the same word over and over at the end of his lines)
Is this my own thing, or are there other people into this as much as I am?

lol..yes I am the same way. when I am in my car I want that hard street hip hop. With the congested traffic over in the city it actually keeps me calm and in a good mood. wu-tang 36 chambers, mobb deep the infamous and hell on earth, scarface's mr.scarface. I do no ever remember bumping lauryn hill in the car. N E WAYZ, I am the same way as you.

I listen to different music when I am in my car when I'm at home. I have never listened to Miseducation.. in my car, though I have listened to it 100 times. But I will bump The Game all the time. I listen to more mainstream music when I'm drivin, or hanging with friends because most people dont appreciate real hip hop.
EDIT: and to floridadiesel, if i hear you bumpin that... actually u cant bump that, if i hear u listening to that ill shoot u myself.

yeah in my ride, ill have to bump westcoast music some scarface, some warren g. nwa, chronic, eminem,too short,xzibit, bone thugs, bay music, the lox, dmx, wutangclan,mceiht,dj quik.. its a must for me. no matter what.
but ill bump some lauryn hill and fugees and beanie sigel too.
but mostly westcoast. some east. lil bit of everything. mix it up.
thats what i love about hiphop. there is certain types and styles for certain things and times. something for everyone.

Everyone has their own favorite flavor of music. What unites us is that we enjoy the art of musical, vocal and lyrical talents combined. I'm sure there are people with preferences just like yours, just as I'm sure there are people who are the complete opposite.
