where is the power take off at on my MTD riding lawnmower?

I don't believe that your MTD has power take off. These things are belt driven. What are you trying to do with it? Maybe there is an answer to the bottom line question.

Are you sure it has one? If so, it is usually located in the back of the machine below the seat level. You should be able to see it easily.
