my last date was my husband of 21 years. We met on the phone via a friend. a friend of mine met a man and she would not go on her own. so his friend took him and she took me. the car broke down and we had a rowe about how i was getting home. he then wanted my number and he strated ringing me. I kept avoiding his calls and then eventually went out with him about 3 weeks later. 4 years later we were married.

My last date is now my hubby for the past 6 years.
I was a secretary for a moving company, and he was a sexy truck driver.
Talk about meant to be!! I worked there from a Thursday to Tuesday, as soon as we started going out, I quit my job there.

SIX YEARS AGO I GOT INTO CONSTRUCTION. THATS HOW I MET MY LAST DATE. WE ARE STILL TOGETHER. SOMETIMES I USE TO WONDER HOW HE FELT ABOUT DATING A LADY THAT DID KIND OF WORK. THE FEW WOMEN THAT I HAVE SEEN ON A CONSTRUCTION SITE ALWAYS HELD THE FLAG. I DID THE HEAVY DUTY WORK . I WAS GRADING DIRT AND SAND, LAYING OUT AND FRAMING WALLS, POURING AND FINISHING CONCRETE, AND ETC. YOU NAME IT IVE DONE IT. THE ONLY THING I HAVENT DONE IS LAY BRICK AND BLOCK. I EVEN OPERATED THE HEAVY EQUIPMENT. SOMETIMES MEN DONT KNOW HOW TO TAKE A WOMAN LIKE THAT. ANYWAY, I AM NOW PREGNANT WITH HIS BABY AND WE ARE FINE.

FOAF, friend of a friend. Why is it that my married friends seem to think they need to set me up all the time? Then again, if you are or happen to know a 50 something sweet young lady, unencumbered by toddlers or a husband, who is close to or is HWP, then let me know and then maybe I could say we met on answers...

Some mutual friends introduced us -- we married a year later -- and that was 15 years ago! He was my 'last date' and he's my only date now!

my last date was over 24 yrs. ago - he's my husband and we met while in high school... I worked in a pool hall and he came in a lot to shoot pool
