Yesterday was our 20 weeks scan with sonographer.
We expected it to take long time and do very detail checking of the baby, but it took maybe 15 to 20 minutes and I don't know if it was detail scan. To us, she was more like in a hurry.
I wanted to know if yours were same way or took longer time? I know there is 2nd level scan done, when the blood test and the first scan result raises a flag, right?
We are planning to ask our OB next Monday to find out about the result and also we will ask him about if that the 20 weeks scan we had done in a short time is normal...Please let me know how yours were...

yes i had a similar experience i went in there feeling really excited and was totally let down i was really hoping that i would find out the sex of my baby but the ladie doing it was like yours in a hurry and didn't seem very helpful she just did everything very quick then when i asked if she could tell the sex all i got was a quick 1 second glance over and a Sharpe no sorry baby not in the right position to me it looked like she just could not be bothered anyway so went away very disappointed so now I'm looking into having a 4d scan done as its private i will have more time and there a lot more patient
everything with my baby was fine though so I'm grateful for that

I also had a 20-week scan and wasn't in there for more than 15-20 minutes. I know she took measurements of the baby, and my doctor will discuss the results at our next appointment. I had a quad screen blood test done at 19 weeks, so at the next appointment I'm sure I'll find out if all was normal.

I just had my 20 week scan and she took about 45 minutes with me, but me being on my 4th pregnancy, I know that is not the norm. I was very happy with the way she treated me and talked me through everything, but unfortunately, I know their not all like that.
