Most won't check until at least 36 weeks, and more and more often these days, many won't check at all until either labor begins, or if you're overdue.
There is no medical benefit in knowing what you're effaced and dilated to, especially at 34 weeks, but even so all the way up until you're due. It's not a good indicator on if labor is near. And every check brings with it a risk for infection.
Don't worry. At the latest, if you reach your due date or go a few days past, they will check you in effort to decide if induction is necessary.

At 34 weeks your doctor induced? No, not unless there was something endangering the baby.
If you have had a normal pregnancy thus far...there is no reason to check your cervix until you are at least 38 to 39 weeks.

each and every being pregnant is diverse. My first son replaced into born at 32 weeks. My 2d being pregnant replaced into with twins, my medical doctors all started checking for dilation and effacement at 28 weeks the 2d time around. yet on a common low danger being pregnant i'm rather particular that they do commence checking around 36 weeks.

I know Dr.s don't check if you are not having problems at 34 weeks because they do not want to introduce germs into your body.. It is a safety precaution.

most dr don't start routine cervical checks unitl 37 weeks or so. Don't stress it, if you dialate you dialate, if you don;t you don't.
