I agree the boots are a great pairing and it sucks that they are out of stock, so i would suggest a similar pair from just about anywhere, maybe a pair like these:

Obviously these are pricey boots, a good pair usually is, if you are on more of a budget you could try places like DSW, etc.

Money can't buy happiness...but it can rent it for a while! Money is just a means to an end. It can buy lots of things. And it can buy things you can't put your finger on, such as information, knowledge, and people's silence (or lack of it). There's always been some form of money, from the very earliest of time. It was always meant to be a form of trade in order to get what was needed. Sometimes getting a need filled will bring happiness, but it never really lasts. Once a need is filled, there's always another need popping up. Then, there's want, which is different than need. We can't live without food, but we can live without ice cream. We can want booze, but we don't need it to live. It's the act of buying that can make us feel happy, but it's never completely fulfilling. If it was, then there'd be a lot of companies closing up shop because everyone had all they needed or wanted. The thing with money is, it eventually runs out. If we were only happy because of the money, then we'd be very disappointed when it ran out. It's best to put your trust in things that always remain constant, and never run out. Of course, that's another story in itself. <*)))><

The dress is great! You should find a high heel boot like the pic, J.Crew.com has some great boots right now. You can also do an opaque printed tight with a closed toe high heel, that would be great too.

Suggest:
1] knee-high boots
2] slightly 'chunky' heels - platform, croc stamped
