You have to talk your nerves down...its natural. Just realizing that nervousness wasn't good for the fetus was enough to make myself calm. Also fantasizing about all the baby stuff. Kisses, snuggles, first smiles, first every things, baby smell helped a lot. I so miss being pregnant, the whole hormone thing gave me a much better outlook on life even though I was still a bit nervous.

I don't think that you can ever stop worrying, but I do believe you don't worry as much the further along you get. I was excited the moment I found out I was pregnant and even more excited now that I'm starting my third trimester. I love when my baby moves, it's such a wonderful feeling. I can't wait to meet her. Just relax and think about all the wonderful things to come; you'll be fine! Good Luck!

I stopped being super nervous, about miscarrying and something being wrong with the baby, at about 20 weeks. Once we had the ultrasound and they told us things looked okay then I felt better. I knew that the baby had a chance of survival at 25 weeks and that was when I really stopped worrying so much. The worrying never really ends though. Once they are born you will worry about them 10 times more, every day, for the rest of your lives.

I felt this way until I heard the heartbeat for the first time at 11 weeks, 2 days and I asked the doctor what my risks were at that point and he said very, very, very tiny. I got more excited when I entered the second trimester and knew that the miscarriage risk had dropped drastically. I am sad that I wasted the whole first trimester being worried though. Everyone around me was way more excited than I was. But, I guess that's normal for many women. Try not to worry so much though, worrying won't actually do anything to make your pregnancy more healthy, unfortunately.

Truthfully I never stopped being nervous.. It gets better though.. once I hit 25 weeks I was still nervouse but not that much because the chances of survival if they baby was born at 25 weeks is so much highier I think my dr said like 95%.. but in all reality you going to feel nervouse until you have your baby in your arms. and then its a whole new kind of nervouse. But its the best feeling in the world to know you are a mommy!

I felt more nervous in my first pregnancy. Once you start feeling the baby move (15-20 weeks depending on the person), you will be much more reassured.
Hang in there, you'll start to be excited soon.

you will have ups and down throughout the pregnancy. it's just all part of being pregnant. I always got excited when I got to go shopping for the baby. It helps to see all those cute little things that goes along with babies.

For me excitement came after my first ultrasound and i heard the heart beat and it really kicked in when i felt my daughter move for the first time. Don't worry your nervousness will go away sooner than you think.
