I had that with my first pregnancy. Started in my 7th month. When I went for my next doctors visit I asked her about it and when she checked me I was dilated to 3 cm. She put me on modified bed rest for 4 weeks and that stopped the pains. There wasn't really fear of premature birth, but the ligaments stretching out causing so much pain wasn't worth not being on bed rest. For now just take some Tylenol and wait 'til your next appointment which should be soon anyway. And even if you are dilated, don't worry, I still had to be induced.

Yes, this sounds normal. But, call your doctor if you would like to be sure. It's round ligament pain.

most likely it is just stretching, everything around there is stretching to accomodate the growing baby. if it gets progressively worse or really worries you, call your doctor and ask.
