In January 1993, Mexico remonetized and 1000 old pesos became 1 new peso. Your 1984 2000 peso banknote (with portrait of Justo Sierra) is worth 2 current pesos, or about 19 cents US.

there would not be any "antique value" to them, the exchange rate varies right now, last I heard it was around one U.S. dollar to eight pesos. so roughly $250.00 or so, but check the exchange rate first because as I said, it varies.
