I think there is, but I that opinion seems to vary. I've been called a mama's boy, but I never take offense because I think there is a fine line between the two. I just take care of 'the home' first, that shouldn't make me a mama's boy.

What do you think?

I believe there is a definate difference also. A Mama's boy can't make a decision for himself and is always seeking his mother's approval. A son with a great relationship with his mother knows she will support his decisions.
Taking care of you mother is a wonderful quality, don't let anyone tell you different.

Yes, I do believe so. But I see nothing wrong with either though. My son and I are real close. And there is nothing wrong with being called a mama's boy. They tell my son that to. Even though he is on his own now. Don't worry about it people will always have an opinion. I think you must be a very good son.

There's a big difference between the two.The mother son relationship is like the does do things for mother, around the house. The mommas boy is like the son stays under mother 24-7, and the relationship is very weird and awkward. Mother does every thing for the son and neither one has a problem with it.

I think there is a difference. When I think of a "mama's boy" I think of a person that can't be independent. They need their mother to make their decisions for them. Having a good relationship with your mom is nothing to be ashamed of. I am a mom of two boys and I hope to have a strong relationship with them as well...however I want them to be able to care for themselves. I think it's awesome that your mom and you are close...and I bet your mom does too :)
