How much did your lvl 20 guy cost you in Guild Wars?

just wonderin how much it costs you for a fully equiped lvl 20

getting a level 20 character? Cost: nothing.

Getting max armor: cost 5k plus cost of materials. (estimate about 8k total)
Getting Runes on that armor: 1-3k
Getting a weapon: depends on the weapon you want. You can get a nice weapon from monster drops or spend a small fortune for that rare skin perfect stats weapon.

Armor is cheap. There is no need to spend a lot of gold on armor unless you just want the look of the elite armor. The cheap armor has the same stats.

Overall, it really doesn't cost a lot of gold to have a fully equipped competitive character. You can spend a lot for extra stuff that you want, but none of it is necessary.

That depends on what build, or personal preference you are going for. Armor costs vary throughout the game/campaigns. the most expensive usually being Elite Armor. And this is not considering prestige armor such as Obsidian.

But like it or not for such armor the main gold sink will be getting all the crafting materials plus the cost of crafting which can sometimes run in the hundreds of Plat.

Marquis, your GuildWars answers are brilliant. The only reason to spend a lot of money on armor is if you want it to have a certain look but that look won't protect you any better than the cheaper armor.

that's particularly much as undesirable as only soliciting for an account. It violates the two video games person agreements. in case you attempt to bypass the leveling of a GW, then i could get dusk. It levels you to twenty in 15 hours of gameplay.
