When you were once a rape victim, like I was... it's a parasite.
BTW, Doctors tell you you're pregnant,.. nothing more. OB/GYNs and GPs leave the judgment call on what it is to the individual patient.
Brian: So according to you... even rape victims should have no choice?
They deserve to be violated again by being forced to carry a pregnancy which is the result of a crime, and to which they did not give their consent to create?
Your misogyny is nauseating.

My husband and I certainly didn't consider my pregnancy a disease!
We had an early ultrasound when I was 5 weeks pregnant because I had miscarried previously, and at 5 weeks gestation we could see her little heart beating! We loved her already of course, but seeing her little heart beating on the monitor really made it hit home that there was a living little tiny person inside me.
Just my own personal experience...

On the other hand, if a fetus is a person with rights of his/her own, then when a pregnant woman is incarcerated for some crime she committed, then the fetus is also being put in jail and it happens because of something that the fetus didn't do.

Some people even call it a parasite. How any rational person could think it is anything other than a unique human being in a certain state of development is beyond me. We all, throughout our lives, have been dependent on others to varying degrees for our survival and I don't see any difference with an unborn person. In the name of supposed women's rights we allow these people to be butchered on a whim. it's disgraceful.................

Let's face it...when you first find out you are pregnant, whether you want it or not, you are not carrying a baby. You are carrying a blastocyst...a POTENTIAL baby. What makes it a baby is whether you allow it to continue to develop. It would be like calling an acorn an oak tree. An acorn is not an oak tree.

What?! Regardless, it is MY choice to decide for MY family what is best for them. Not the government, not you, not some religion that just showed up 20 years ago.

No, it's a medical condition. I don't care what they call it. I just tell them to vacuum and suck the parasite out.
