I am terribly uncomfortable today. I'm almost 16 weeks pregnant and I'm showing. I also have Complete Previa. I have this sensation that everything is being pushed upwards. It really hurts today. Is this normal?

Well not to be a downer but if you are this uncomfortable this early - it might be really bad later. I wasn't uncomfortable at all until the last month and OMG I was like c'mon kiddo you need to get outta there! =) You are carrying high it sounds like so baby is pushing everything upwards. If you are in real pain vs being uncomfortable PLEASE call you OBGYN and talk to them right away. All this is worth it in the end though. Congrats on your little one!

since you have placenta previa the baby is spending all its time at the top of the uterus. Likely you will carry high all through the pregnancy. Its not the most comfortable way to spend a pregnancy. I have had a high baby, and a low baby, and I think overall I prefered the high one. Good luck!

I've always been told you should feel uncomfortable, but no pain. But then again my baby was breech and had his head and feet in my ribs for most of the pregnancy and that was very painful. If you are really concerned call your doctor they can talk to you over the phone so you don't even have to go there unless they ask you to.
