Unfortunately not , or better anyone on male descendant.Both his sons died without having sons. his heredity (it is not true he died poor.... maybe not rich as he wished ;) ) was called by a cousin coming from Cogoleto, a suburb of Genoa. Unfortunately he was not rich enough for going to demonstrate his relative-hood at Spain court. He asked for help to another Colombo, but made only a lot of confusion, so heredity was taken by Spain Crown....

Yes, he has an island full of descendants--Puerto Rico--We have been working on our family tree and it leads straight to one of his grandsons, from two different directios although there seems to be some inconsistency in records as to whether this is through his son Diego or Luis. In any event, between us and Christopher, there are 16 generations of people, who had a ton of children, including my great grandmother who had 14 kids.

He does it's a woman with his last name Colón, I remember seeing a special about Columbus and she is known in Spain, where she lives, as being his closest living descendant, although I do not remember her name, shes out there somewhere.
