PlayStation 2 Games?? Recommendations?

Question

I'm not a big gamer, but I got a PS2 a few months ago (real cheap due to the PS3/Wii). Anyway, I don't know much about the games, and I DO NOT LIKE really violent games. Any recommendations?

The only games I've really liked so far were Bully and The Sims. But, I loved playing Fate online - any recommendations for longer games like Fate or Bully?

It sucks you dont like violent games....a real fun game is ManHunt!

A classic game that you must play...its a PSX(playstation 1) game but its one of the best!!!
Final Fantasy 7!!! Ask anyone around....regardless if its a game from 1997.....its still a classic and I still play that game up to this day....not so violent and a real great RPG game!!

I was going to recommend God of War 1 & 2, and Resident Evil 4, but those are both pretty violent. So here are some T-rated games.

Ratchet and Clank, any of the series (action/platformer)
Jak and Daxter, any of the series (action/platformer)
Dragon Quest 8 (turn-based RPG)
Final Fantasy 10 & 12 (RPG)

For Role Playing, you can't beat the Final Fantasy series! With a PS1 memory card, you can play the older versions.

For fun, try Shadow the Hedgehog (an old acquaintance of Sonic).

If you like martial arts, try the Virtua Fighter series :)

There are a total of 32 games on this list. They are all Platformers/Action games, my favorite kind. I have enjoyed playing all of these games, I still have them and I do not intend to ever get rid of them. I enjoy replaying them from time to time. I have played all of these games on my PS2, so they could also be played on a PS3.

if you like rpg's, i would recommend any final fantasy game, or tony hawk (probably underground), bully is the only mission-based non violent game that i know of...there is shadows of destiny, gran turismo 3...

cant think of too many more, but do a search for like top 20 ps2 games on google, and they will give you a list to research...
