Christ, I worry about EVERYTHING ! If it isn't something that could happen to my children or my husband then it's something could happen to me that could change their lives forever. Ugh, the list goes on.

I'm not reading your whole post but I can see the problem. You're lumping huge groups together and generalizing, it doesn't work that way. Try again. Let me guess you are between the ages of 14 and 25 and are still dependent on your parent's income. You are generalizing by saying that most Americans __________ (insert ridiculous statement here). Very few people are hardcore extremists, like you seem to think. Most people have their own views and vote accordingly.

I used to do that. Now I take stuff one day at a time and realize there's not much i can do about most stuff anyway.
