I just read that an oiler can add 25% more torque to air tools. Is there any mechanics out there that can confirm this?? I just thought it might be a good investment for my underpowered impact wrench.

An inline air drier is more important than the auto-oiler.
Moisture kills air tools very quickly.
Just put some oil in the tool before use.(once daily)

Put a few drops of air to oil into the gun before connecting the hose. You don't need expensive Oilers when you can do this manually. Oil always helps.

All I do is squirt some Marvel Mystery Oil into the air hose pigtail that's connected to each air tool.

oil will not add more torque
the proper amount of oiling with the proper oil will extend the life of the tool and allow the tool to function properly.

also too much oil can be just as hard on the tool as no oil
