I think it's 'fixed news' - it feels to me that they know what point they want to make and then manipulate the news and take things out of context to make them say what they want to say.
How can O'Reilly be a real journalists when he won't let his guests talk? If anyone dares say anything he disagrees with, he insults them. I only watched him a few times because to me, he's not interesting at all (except as a psychiatric study), he just wants to present his own opinions, regardless of the facts (the real ones).
I read a lot of international news and I happen to be French... Wasn't there anything more ridiculous than O'Reilly calling for a boycott of everything French and calling french fries "freedom fries"!!! Come'on I'm still laughing. First of all, the French happened to be right, there was no weapons of mass destruction found in Iraq, so because the US say "jump", the rest of the world has to jump?
Mr. O'Reilly seems to think so, if not, he'll call you the worst names he can think of and accuse you of the worst crimes.
For something more recent, you have certainly heard his comments about Silvia's restaurant. I don't understand how they haven't fired him yet. This was so racist and condescending. How can anyone defend him on that? oh yes, their old strategy of attacking other journalists, not aknowledging their own mistakes...
Some say that Olbermann is a liberal because that's their tactic: attact the person so you won't have to actually defend your point of view. O'Reilly and many on Fox are just bullies, they bully and bully, but bullying works unfortunately, they have an audience.

Well it's becoming more and more apparent that the networks, and glaringly like Olbermann and those like him are blatantly manipulating what's supposed to be news, but when they get through with it is more a campaign ad then news, they get that "tingly feeling up their leg", spare me, that's news?, I don't think so. You have Charlie Gibson knowing nothing about the controversy regarding Rev.Wright when asked to comment on the story, what!!!. and other supposed "news" people who apparently knew nothing ( sorry I don't believe it for a minute ) about stories that are all over the news but it doesn't fit their agenda so they just do the fingers in the ears and LALALALALA thing. People are tired of the BS they're being fed and that's why things are the way they are. Why do the networks, who have video of blacks at Tea Party rallies but never show it?, because then they'd have a hard time calling them racists, which they do regularly, even when the know differently.

I like o'Reilly. He clearly lays out his case, and lets his guests make their case. O'Reilly only cuts off a guest if they 1 dodge the question and 2. fillibuster. He always allows the viewer to make up their own mind. He has slammed the bush admn. and the dems over several issues. Equally. Olberman has no varying views on his show, and resorts to name calling when he can't debate an issue.
If people think Fox News is pro-republican, then what is CNN, MSNBC, ABC, NBC, and CBS. You never hear anything out of them favorable to this admn.
to s007 the reason the french did not support the invasion along with the soviets is gov. officials were getting money from sadam. Oil-for-food scandle sound familiar?

I think his opinion is different from the standard liberal bias of the other TV news sources. Its refreshing to see the other side, but he can act very pompous at times.
