They are often all incorrectly called cockneys.
This really is the name for those born within the sound of Bow bells, i.e. the bells on the parish church at Bow in the East End of London.
Generally they are called Londoners. The ones from the east side of London take great pride in being called "East-Enders".
These are the polite names!

A Londoner I'd say, I haven't really heard of any others and I live in Greater London. Seem to have nicer names for people down here!
