I'm turkish, maybe you know the bombings that happened in 2003 in Istanbul. Al-Qaeda has claimed responsibility for the attacks. Suicide bombers attacked the HSBC building, and at the same time the British consulate.30 people died, and hundreds of wounded. I was quite near to the HSBC building, I was just too afraid, everyone was trying to call their nears, and the telephone lines blocked, the metro did not work. It was then horrible to see the big HSBC building destroyed. well later living with the fear of new bombing, you get used to it.

The greatest trick America ever pulled was convincing its people it was a free country. Thankfully I've only spent a few months in the States, but sadly I am still exposed to their evils and hypocrisy through the International Media. The reason America is so divided is merely due to the fact that the American public have had to stop and think "why does the whole world hate us?". Clearly they're too dumb to see the real answers, so each American blames another, little realising they are aiding the downfall of their nation. All I can say is, bring on the Superquake!

True - While shopping once a bomb threat had been phoned into the department store at which I was shopping and they emptied the store immediately . This happened 30 years ago also long before all this talk of terrorist but it did seem that there was a phase at the time when such threats were more common place .

True. I used to work in a shopping center and we had a few there, not just left bags, but actual coded messages through the police where we've had to evacuate. There has never been an actual bomb found though, thank God !!

True. I was working in Whitehall, London about 17 years ago. It wasn't a scare it was a genuine bomb (specifically a missile) aimed at Downing street.

Yes, but only if you count the fake bomb call made by a fellow classmate in high school (he wanted the day off, or so the story goes). But this was back in 1992, before all the school shootings and such..
