My baby shower cost $700 for 25 guests for a luncheon at a country club... the favors were $40 total. The invitations were about $30.. It also depends if you will be serving alcohol. We didn't.. my shower was on a Sunday afternoon.. if you have it on a Saturday evening then you would probably want to serve wine. If you're on a budget, have a friend host it at her house and ask the guests to bring a favorite dish.

Unless you've been hiding under a rock for the last couple years, I'm sure you've heard of the Paleo Diet. Read here https://tr.im/paleoguide
I hate to even call it a diet, because it's really just the real way that humans have eaten for almost 1.9 Million years, as opposed to the modern-day processed food diet full of grains, sugars, and processed vegetable oils.

Don't spend more than you can afford for someone!! I have spent $150.00 when I was on a budget & I had a lot of other people contribute things... and I have spent $600.00 for another friends shower (she didn't have any family so I took control of that one).

Just remember that being creative is much more important that how much you spend. Look online for baby shower ideas there are millions of websites that can help you now... or go to your nearest Barnes & Noble and find a book and read it cover to cover!! Good luck. If you have a specific question feel free to email me. I love helping with party planning.

For a double shower, I spent $200. It was at my parent's house, I sent Evites, made the favors myself, decorations were minimal, mostly plants from my parent's garden and I had been collecting flower pots from garage sales for months, and game prizes were all bath/shower goodies bought little bits at a time whenever a store had a major sale on them!!

Most of the money went to food and paper goods. I went w/ yellow as a theme color (my sis having a girl and my aunt having a boy). Food was simple- finger sandwiches, fruit and veggie platters w/ dips, cake, and punch. I purposely made the shower at 2pm, between meals so we didn't feel the need to really FEED people, just snacks. And only the cake was store-bought, everything else was homemade between my mom and I.

Some people rent facilities, hire catering, do extravagant decor or floral arrangements... you can spend $50 or $1million...

it all depends on what you're budget and imagination are limited to!!

It depends on how many people will be attending. If you have more people you will need more food. Cake is about $17 and up and finger foods can get you in the whole about $100 and up depending on what you serve. You will need plates, cups etc. You can get those at the dollar store for about $10-15 bucks. If you play games, then you'll need to buy prizes for the winners and try to get those from stores having big sales. Decorations and invitations. At least $200 on the cheap if you have about 50 people. If you have say 25 maybe $125 or less then it wouldn't be much at all.

i would say $200 dollars max...it suppose to be a little get together...finger foods...and decorations..let's just say you should pay more for the presents then the party.
